Senior Capstone Project

The game focuses on Shunxin, who is our main protagonist. Shunxin is a young man who is deeply passionate about insects. He has the sudden realization that the "demons" that have plagued the world are actually giant bugs.

The Storm

The Storm takes place in an industerial age /Semi-Fantasy/East Asian Province. Which has been taken over by inter-dimensional creatures. These creatures are why the world is plunged into a cold wasteland.

The Storm World Building

I have been working on the storm since 2021 mostly playing around with the world and creature concepts. Not until 2023 I started to plan character designs and creature designs.The original idea of "The Storm" Focuses on a polyamorous trio who have to adapt and survive their now apocalyptic world infested with "demonic" creatures.

The Storm Trio Summery: We follow the lives of this polyamorous trio. One of them is the newly crowned empress, Lin Leying, who flees the city with her partners and guards; Zhongyang & Shunxin. They head to the countryside. As the years pass on and the three manage to survive, Shunxin doesn’t return from his supply run, forcing the two Leying and Zhongyang to travel back to the city to find their missing partner. All while trying to avoid being eaten by “demons”.

I am constantly devolping these creatures and some designs have stayed the same while others have changed drastically.
